Chris Mansfield is the Owner & Specialist Consultant of PM Practice, he has worked in the project management profession across Australasia and Europe for many years in public, private and not-for-profit sectors for various industries, including Information Technology; Telecommunications; Government and Finance.
Prior to establishing PM Practice, Chris was Operations Manager for the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), responsible for the Institute’s operational support staff, his role included ensuring service delivery in the areas of - Membership; Certification; Administration; Events; Knowledge Management; Financial Management and Office Services. Chris was also responsible for the management of the Institute’s ICT infrastructure; website; library and information resource centre.
Chris was the Institutes Certification & Assessment Manager, managing AIPM’s RegPM Program; participating in AIPM’s Professional Development Council; Standards Committee; Endorsements Committee; Assessor Panel and review committees as well as being an active member of the Australian Industry Body for over twelve years.
Chris is AIPM NSW President and a Fellow of the Institute, has an Advanced Diploma in Project Management; a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and is a Certified Practicing Project Director (CPPD); Prince2 Practitioner; MSP Practitioner and P3O Practitioner.
Chris also contributed to the development of International project management standards and was the Australian delegate to the International Project Management Association (IPMA) Consensus program – International Competency Regulation Guidelines (ICRG) and is currently a Councillor on the NSW Chapter of the Australian Institute of Project Management.
